The San Diego Surfing Hall of Fame welcomes nine 2026 inductees at a one-night waterfront surf-culture gathering on Tuesday, September 29, at the San Diego Mission Bay Boat & Ski Club. Master of ceremonies Hank Warner leads the induction of Paul Bordieri, Hank Byzak, Clairemont Surf Shop, Ron Greene, Devon Howard, Kanaka Surf Club, Jeannette Schumacher Prince, Steve Seebold and Tony Staples. Doors begin with a 5:00 PM VIP mixer, general admission starts at 6:30 PM, the ceremony begins at 7:00 PM and the program closes at 9:30 PM. The official poster also advertises a full bar, on-site barbecue and an XYZ vintage resale. Four ticket tiers remain listed on the organizer’s official schedule page: $20 Grom Special for guests age 18 and under; $45 General Admission; $80 VIP Mixer; and $145 VIP Mixer plus Goodie Bag, limited to 20 packages. Purchases are held on the door list, and the organizer asks attendees not to print confirmations; bringing ID is optional in the published note. Capacity beyond the 20 goodie-bag packages, transaction fees, refund/exchange policy, final-sale terms, attendee waiver, companion ticketing, accessible seating, bag policy, re-entry and livestream are not published. This San Diego event is included as a regional Los Angeles surf-community exception: Mission Bay is roughly 125 road miles from downtown Los Angeles and the ceremony recognizes significant Southern California surf people, clubs and institutions.
